Curious about the layout and equipment inside a ‘tiny house’ that floats? Check out the video below (Part 1) for a cabin tour of Peacemaker (a Tartan 37) and a glimpse into daily life on a boat. Then, for a tour of Peacemaker’s cockpit and deck, including our sailing instruments and exterior equipment, like chartplotter, solar panels […]
In this episode, visit busy Nassau Harbor, snorkel with us on the lovely west coast of New Providence while we wait for storms to pass and new toilet parts to ship, and then play on the beach at Rose Island.
Here’s the latest video from Peacemaker and her crew. We always hope you enjoy and be sure (if you’re not already) to follow us on facebook, youtube, and all those other social media things. Enjoy! After arriving in the Bahamas, we couldn’t wait to start exploring! The few photos and video below tell the tale of our ten days in the Bimini Islands & Gun Cay: beautiful anchorages, a forgotten marina with plenty to discover, the Fountain of Youth, free-diving shipwrecks, a trip up Peacemaker’s mast and more…
Peacemaker has finally left the United States and is on its way to the Bahamas! Her crew; Leah, Brewster, and myself were excited to undertake the 125 mile passage across the gulf stream and to North Bimini, blue skies, and water so clear you can see to the bottom.
We loved Key West’s laid back, casual vibe, with its friendly residents and island-time mentality. No more work or repairs can, or should, be done for […]
Despite Leah’s sage advice, I had imagined myself in the Bahamas already where I’d be swimming with the dolphins and mermaids in crystal clear water while fishing for Mahi-Mahi and diving for lobster. Well, that’s not quite the case. However, while there’s been no mermaid contact, WE FINALLY OWN A BOAT AND WE’RE ON THE […]
